This design project by designers Monika Jakubek and Anna Müller named “Leitfaden”. Do you work with a lot of hard-to-match fabric perhaps found in thrift shops? This very interesting sewing machine should interest you. Using a swatch of the fabric to use to match colors, The Leitfaden Sewing Machine concept dyes the white thread using CMYK color process, a little like a desktop printer would. You would never have to stop a sewing project because you run out of the right thread color. Unfortunately I am unable to find any information about this sewing machine being produced.
