Sewphisti-Cat's Hands-Free Hipster Bag Sewing Pattern

The “Hands-Free Hipster Bag” is easy to make and features roomy side and front pockets and additional pockets inside. There is additionally an easy to install zipper closure on the back pocket. Finished size is 10″W x 9 1/2″H x 2 1/2″D.  This pattern consists of a total of 25 pages of which 2 pages are the front and back pattern cover, 15 pages are instructions and photos, one page is of pattern layouts and how to tape them together, and there are seven pages of pattern pieces.

 

Materials Needed: 

  • 2/3 yard Main Fabric
  • 1 yard Coordinating Fabric
  • 3/8 yard Lining Fabric
  • 1/2 yard Fleece/Batting -OR- Fleece Alternative (ex . Inn Control, Soft & Stable, etc.
  • 1/2 yard Mid- to Heavy-weight Interfacing
  • 1/8 yard Ultra Heavy-weight Interfacing (ex. Craf-Tex, Peltex, Timtex, etc.)
  • 2 yards 1″ wide Webbing
  • ( 1) 9″ (or longer) zipper
  • ( 1) 1″ D-Ring
  • ( 1) 1″ Slider
  • (1) 3/4″ Dia. Magnetic Snap
  • Four Purse Feet (Optional)
