This is a really cute and very practical quilted and appliqued bag. It has four pockets inside and a zip closure. You can use it for makeup, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, cream and other miscellaneous things.  It appears to be without a strap or handles, however, you could certainly always add one.

    A nice simple bag, it is nothing more than rectangles to make it easy. Awesome!   The bag is extremely versatile and can be a lunch bag as it has a plastic lining. It also makes a wonderful makeup bag for traveling.

    Supplies needed:

    • 2/3 yard of fabric for outside, pocket and handles
    • 1/3 yard of fabric for lining
    • 1/2 yard of iron on vinyl
    • 1/2 yard of craft weight interfacing
    • 2 strips of batting 42″ by 1 1/4 inches
    • Thread
    • 16″ or longer zipper

    You will need two shades of fabric plus a contrasting color for the lining. About 15-20cm of the main color and the lining should do. For the piping detail a ribbon or a few centimeters of a leftover fabric will do.  A 10 cm (4″) zipper (some bias-tape optional)
